About The Client

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a digital publishing company, for a Fact Video Writer / Producer. The client creates original infotainment content and publishes it online to multiple digital asset in multiple languages.


Role & Responsibilities

We're looking for an entrepreneurial self-starter to help build our growing content distribution streams. You must be organised to ensure deadlines are met, and willing to take on new challenges. You will be managing what gets published onto our website and social media channels that will be viewed by millions of people each day all around the world. Necessarily, that means you must be focused on delivery work with a high attention to detail. You should be looking for more than just a job. You should aspire to lead and own a media company one day as this position holds massive future potential for growth.


As our website & social media Manager, your role will involve:

  • Optimizing and publishing posts online to our website and social media channels
  • Managing a team of freelancers who help create and publish content
  • Coming up with new unique ideas and turning them into videos for the world to see.
  • Ensure that all of our content is on-brand and consistent in style, quality and tone
  • Research a variety of topics in depth, mining for new ideas to craft engaging titles and stories
  • Licensing and searching for imagery and videos to be posted online
  • Managing and overseeing our ad campaigns
  • Performing statistical tests on our posts to optimize and inform our decision making

Essential & Desirable Criteria

Ideal candidates should demonstrate:

  • An entrepreneurial temperament. You should constantly be thinking of new ways to commercialize on our content.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and copyediting skills
  • An enthusiasm for Social Media. If it’s popular, viral, or trending, you should know about it.
  • A self-starter attitude with a diverse array of interests
  • Social Media experience, preferably a track record of excellent performance.
  • A creative spark with a proven ability to think outside of the box.
